FAQ

How do chiropractic adjustments help?

Chiropractic care is an important tool to help you get back to enjoying the things you love. Chiropractors manipulate the body’s alignment to relieve pain and improve function to enable the body to heal itself. These adjustments enhance the ability of the nervous system to function optimally. Since the nervous system controls nearly every function of the body, chiropractic is a vital part of any health routine. While a lot of chiropractic focuses on spinal manipulation, treatments can also include manipulative therapies, postural and exercise education, and ergonomic training.

Do adjustments hurt?

Most patients do not report experiencing any discomfort in the process of their adjustment. The likelihood of initial soreness or increased pain after an adjustment is similar to that of starting a new exercise program.

Is chiropractic care covered by my insurance?

Everyone’s insurance plan is different. While we do check your specific coverage during your first visit, we do not verify coverage prior to your appointment. We strongly suggest calling the number on the back of your insurance card to determine what is covered so you know ahead of time.

Do you offer walk-in adjustments?

The doctors want to have a clear understanding of your history and issues before making adjustments. This ensures you receive the safest and most customized care options possible. With that said, we do not offer walk-in adjustments.

I see that you offer a free health assessment. Does that mean my first visit is at no cost?

On your first visit, you’ll receive a complimentary assessment to answer questions and determine what issues may be present. If you choose to proceed, the doctors will then do a full exam and possibly take x-rays. The exam stage may have some costs associated, depending on your insurance coverage.
